Andrew Ireland is an attorney and lifelong Hoosier representing Indiana House District 90, which includes portions of Franklin and Perry Townships in southern Marion County. At the Statehouse, he has earned a reputation as a strong conservative voice who is willing to ask hard questions, defend Hoosier values, and get results.

Before joining the Indiana General Assembly, Andrew served as a Deputy Indiana Attorney General. He worked on some of the state’s most consequential cases and appeals, including efforts to defend Indiana’s pro-life laws, protect election integrity, and push back against the Biden administration’s immigration policies all the way to the United States Supreme Court.
Andrew later entered private practice, where he represents trucking companies and other Indiana businesses. He also serves on the board of the Franklin Township Business Alliance, keeping him closely connected to the employers, workers, and neighborhood leaders who make the south side strong.

Andrew earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Indiana University and an MBA from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea. Living abroad strengthened his appreciation for American freedom, free enterprise, and the opportunities Hoosiers work hard to create for the next generation.

Andrew met his wife, Maddie, while the two were volunteering for Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign. Today they live in Franklin Township with their daughter, Anna Grace. The Ireland family attends Indian Creek Christian Church.
For Andrew, public service starts with listening. Whether he is knocking on doors, touring a local business, meeting with law enforcement, or speaking with families at a community event, he takes the concerns of District 90 directly to the Statehouse—and works to deliver.
