​Make Indy's Streets Safe Again

Andrew Ireland served as a Deputy Indiana Attorney General and had a perfect record beating criminal appeals. He is 100% pro-law enforcement, has met with their leadership to discuss solutions to end Indy’s violent crime wave, and will always have our officers' backs. Andrew Ireland will fight to make Indianapolis safe again. At the Statehouse, he will author legislation to:

• Fire woke local prosecutors like Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears who refuse to enforce our laws

• Make prosecutors and judges liable for knowingly putting violent criminals back on our streets to reoffend

• Give our Attorney General the power to go after offenders that local officials refuse to prosecute

Fix Our Broken Property Tax System & Tackle Big Government 

Andrew Ireland believes homeowners shouldn’t see huge annual increases in their property taxes, especially retirees. Andrew backs a plan that caps yearly increases and promotes a total phase-out of property taxes for our seniors. Andrew is also a fighter for fiscal discipline. He’ll demand a full and complete audit of costly state programs like Medicaid, which recently reported a billion-dollar budget and spending error.

Protect the Right to Life

As a Deputy Attorney General, Andrew defended our pro-life laws in court, and he repeatedly beat radical pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood. He helped successfully defend Indiana’s laws requiring:

• Abortionists to report the harms of abortion and medical complications from abortions.

• Abortion facilities to give fetuses a proper, humane burial instead of

disposing of them as “medical waste.”

At the Statehouse, Andrew wants to keep fighting to promote and protect life at all stages. He supports:

• Making adoption and fostering possible for more loving families by

slashing the costs and bureaucracy that get in the way.

• Helping new families keep more of what they earn through child

tax credits.

• Funding and expanding life-saving programs like crisis pregnancy

centers and Safe Haven Baby Boxes.

Andrew Ireland is an NRA member, and he earned the NRA’s top possible rating for a first-time candidate. He will always fight to protect and preserve our Second Amendment rights and our natural right to self defense.

Promote Parental Rights & School Choice

Andrew Ireland will proudly sponsor universal school choice and fight to put parents (not government bureaucrats) back in the driver’s seat for choosing what education that their kids get. Andrew believes schools should be teaching math and reading—not radical gender ideology. And parents, not government bureaucrats, should decide the schooling that’s best for their children.

Fight Illegal Immigration

Andrew believes in law and order and supports deploying our National Guard to secure the southern border, along with creating tough new citizenship verifications for workers. At the Statehouse, Andrew will work to give our governor the tools to fire rogue local prosecutors who fail to enforce Indiana’s ban on sanctuary cities, and who refuse to prosecute illegal aliens and drug dealers to the fullest extent of the law.
