Press Release: Conservative Attorney Andrew Ireland Announces Campaign for Indiana House District 90

Wanamaker, Indiana — Today, Andrew Ireland, former Indiana Deputy Attorney General and a conservative Republican, announced his campaign for Indiana State Representative in House District 90. The current State Representative, Mike Speedy, is not running for re-election but instead is running for Congress.

“If these last few years have taught us anything, it's that Indiana is not immune from big government overreach,” Ireland said. “As a former Deputy Indiana Attorney General, I was proud to fight for Hoosiers' individual liberties. And that's why I'm running - to be an authentic, conservative voice for Southeastern Indianapolis.”

Andrew Ireland's priorities include championing parents' rights and educational freedom, defending the sanctity of life, stamping out crime in Indianapolis, relieving the tax burden on Indiana's homeowners, and promoting free enterprise.

A former Indiana Deputy Attorney General, Andrew began his legal career working on Indiana's biggest cases and appeals - including defending Indiana's election laws and laws protecting the unborn. Now in private practice, Andrew represents trucking companies big and small all over the country.

Andrew Ireland is born and raised in Indiana and attended Indiana University in Bloomington for both undergraduate and law school. He also holds an MBA from South Korea's Sungkyunkwan University. He is married to his wife, Maddie (a Texan), whom he met while volunteering for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz. They live on the Southeast side of Indianapolis in Wanamaker.
